I was first drawn to this because of the single tree composition against the golden hour values around it. However upon clicking on on the actual image, it turned out to be a panoramic view, which was still impressive.
The contrast between the swirling structure of the trees against the flat clam level of the grass work well.
The river that cuts through the image really works agains the low saturation in the shadows of the art work.
The top right hand corner is especially striking with the composition of the the six trees in the background.
Then on the far left you have a tree that sways to the far left of the image. But if you let your eye slide down it you find yourself back at the figure in red. in the shade.
I love this! The colors go together so well and its just beautiful! The grass looks very realistic and the water. I know a critique is supposed to tell you what you can do better, but this is my favorite version you have done of this picture so im at a lack of isssues in it. This must have taken hourse, i couldnt have done it in days but you probably got this done faster. The shading and lighting looks great, The bark on the trees look great, and the whole picture seems to blend together. once again i say its beautiful!
Bummer I was hoping for double that size. Neat I like the repaint, but it's so dark and dreary... it makes me feel depressed whereas this version has a happy and optimistic feeling. It's like the beginning of a great adventure! The repaint is the end of the adventure, and all of his friends died... lol!
Can't say enough nice things about this version, wish I could have it on a 2' X 6' canvas but alas....
I'm a little overwhelmed. This looks just like the wonder world I've always imagined to live in! It is so caelestial... no words... as if its peacefulness is stunning me out. This sight is respiring; I could watch forever. The most innocent scenery I've ever seen in an artwork. Considering I've seen many sceneries, this holds a new feeling for me.
