Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactIt's been a while since i've seen any kind of Metroid art, and this piece is extremely inspiring, as well as impressive.
Charcoal is among my favorite art styles. The way Ridley is pursuing Samus (it looks like it). That's a unique sort of pose I have never seen before. Samus's pose is very nice too, though recognizable from the Dark suit trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Aside from the characters, the background seems like it is highlighted in all acceptable areas; it almost looks like smoke!
Truly impressive, I commend you. It's a unique style of art, mastered.
